Strange Sounds Heard Worldwide

By now many of you have seen the videos that contain strange sounds that people are hearing worldwide, with no explanation. There have been a surge of videos being uploaded to the internet, with people’s individual experiences hearing the strange sounds. The sounds first seemed to emerge months ago, towards the end of 2011, but have shown an increase as we have entered 2012.

So what is it? There have been many theories, ranging from UFO’s to HAARP testing. The biggest question is..Are the sounds even real? Are these videos cleverly produced videos, in an effort to gain views or are these genuine events that people are truly trying to let the world know about? Some have even claimed that the sounds heard worldwide are the trumpets mentioned in the Holy Bible in Revelations. Could these be the apocalyptic sounds of angelic trumpets? Real Haunted: Sloss Furnace

During the years between 1882 and 1971, Sloss Furnace in Birmingham Alabama produced much of the steel used in America. The industrial revolution brought success to Sloss Furnace and helped put the city of Birmingham on the map. It was during the early part of the century that Sloss Furnace began to earn it’s reputation as one of the most Haunted Places in the country.

James “Slag” Wormwood was a foreman at Sloss Furnace and was in charge of nearly 150 men that were forced to work in unbearable conditions. Temperatures would reach well into the one hundreds. The workers could barely see in the dark conditions of the furnace and their eyes burned from the sweat that the high temperatures produced. Most of the workers had no choice but to work feeding Sloss Furnace with it’s much needed coal. They were immigrants. They had no other options if they wanted to feed their families. They were forced to sleep in makeshift barracks and would often be awakened by James “Slag” Wormwood and made to go back to work. There were no labor laws to protect them. Only Slag to torment them.

Most of us remember the "Ghost Busters" movie. We watched in delight as Bill Murray and Dan Akroyd used techniques and equipment that only Hollywood could have invented, to capture and "bust" ghosts.

Although the movies were entertaining (admit it you liked them) even the strongest believers in ghosts knew that they were pretty far fetched and unbelievable. Using a trap to capture a real ghost? We all knew that it was impossible. Or was it?

A man by the name of Robert Bess didn't think so. As a matter of fact, he spent over 10,000 dollars of his own money to build his very own "ghost trap", with the intentions of capturing and filming a real ghost for the first time in history.
Believe it or not, there are many that say he has succeeded and that there are pictures and film to prove it. NBC featured his quest dubbed the "3 Mile Lock Experiment" in a television show. The show followed Bess to the Pump House near Boulevard Bridge in Richmond, VA, where he set up his chamber.

Bess' chamber is a massive 8 ft tall, 4 foot wide box constructed of bulletproof plexiglass and is virtually indestructible. Electromagnets, lasers, sensors,internal and external digital thermometers, and magnetic locks were strategically installed to prevent the entity from escaping once it was inside. Great care was taken in the design of this real life ghostbuster trap.

Bess had initially tried to attract investors in his chamber but was predictably unsuccessful. Still determined to prove the existence of ghosts and that his ghost trap would work, Bess ponied up his own money to see the experiment through.
In May of 2007, 26 years of research and determination paid off according to Bess. While NBC filmed his experiment for television and over one hundred witnesses watched, the chamber was triggered and two entities were trapped within the ghost chamber walls. These ghosts were visible to everyone present, including the NBC crew. The ghosts were captured on both video and still picture. There is no doubt that something was contained within the chamber. Was it a real ghost?

The ghosts were released a short while later and the debate over the Bess Ghost Chamber began. One would assume that Robert Bess had once and for all proven the existence of ghosts and that society and the scientific community would finally accept the reality of ghosts and paranormal activity. Unfortunately, this was not the case.

Although Bess welcomes challenges to his technology, skeptics remain non believers. No matter how much and what kind of evidence is presented, some people will never believe that there is any such thing as a real ghost and the ghost chamber is proof of that. The entire event is to be featured in a documentary "The 3 Mile Lock Experiment - Catch the Spirit." Maybe this documentary can help change the minds of some of those skeptics and prove once and for all what Robert Bess already knows and according to many people, has already proven.

North Carolina is home to one of the strangest phenomena in the world, the Brown Mountain Lights. As far as The Brown Mountain Lights are concerned, there is no question of whether or not they exist. What they are and why they exist would be more appropriate questions.Some natives believe that the lights are the ghosts of ancient Cherokee warriors who were killed while battling on the mountainside. Others think that a more scientific explanation is more likely.

As a matter of fact, a number of scientific investigations have been done on The Brown Mountain Lights.One such investigation was done by the U.S. Geological Survey in 1913. They concluded that the lights were merely locomotive headlights from the Catawba Valley, near Brown Mountain. Case closed. Or was it?

Approximately three years later there was a massive flood that knocked out the railroad bridges in Catawba Valley. The trains were unable to enter the valley for quite some time due to this disaster. Power lines were down and roads were unusable.The Brown Mountain Lights continued to appear as if nothing had ever happened, therefore ruling out locomotive or automobile headlights as an explanation for these strange lights. So what exactly are The Brown Mountain Lights? Some say that clues are in the geology of the mountain itself. When viewed from above, one can instantly make out the outline of a native american face, looking towards the battlefield. The ancient and mysterious Brown Mountain Lights have baffled locals and tourists alike for hundreds of years and if you are ever in NC, you should take a look for yourself.

Real Ghost?

This is a picture of an elderly woman at a gathering of friends and family, shortly before her death. Her family had passed this picture out because they felt like it was such a good picture of their loved one. It was years before anyone noticed the strange figure standing behind her in the photograph.

Someone who was upon further examination, not so strange at all. The family believes that this is their grandfather, the late woman's husband. The only problem was that he had passed away many years before this photograph was taken. The other picture is of the happy couple some years earlier. A comparison of the two photographs reveals an eerie resemblance. What do you think? Real Ghost?

The ghostly face you see behind one of the men in this ghost picture was identified by all of the airmen as Freddie Jackson, their friend and fellow airman who had been killed a few days earlier in an accident. So, if you were to ask these airmen, "Are Ghosts Real?" I would assume that their answer would be an overwhelming yes.

The ghost face was strikingly similar to that of the photographers close friend, who had recently been killed. A picture of that friend is there for comparison. Could this be the same friend that had been killed? Was he watching over the ones he cared for? Or is it simply an illusion?
